Saturation Gold has a smooth, satin/matte finish that is a dark gold similar to bronze when fired. Perfect for sculptural work and industrial ware, this glaze could be a unique accent for any work of art.

Iron Yellow is a glossy, soft yellow glaze with flecks of iron, that is relatively opaque and breaks clear over texture. Excellent as a liner glaze for pots where the goal is to show off the decorations on the outside of the vessel.
True Celadon is a delicate light green glaze that reproduces the effects of traditional Asian celadons. This glaze looks striking over any textured ware and has great color response when layered with our other Potter's Choice glazes.
Seaweed is a fluid, deep green glaze that layers beautifully with a variety of Potter's Choice glazes. This glaze breaks brownish over texture and becomes more fluid with thickness. Pay attention to application thickness so the glaze does not flow onto kiln shelves during firing.

Art Deco Green is a glossy, light blue-green glaze that floats metallic spots to the surface resembling a patinated copper roof.
When applied thin, this glaze tends to have more metallic spots. A thicker application should result in smaller spots.

Frosted Melon is a very unique glaze with some qualities that can be exploited for additional interest. It has a massive, beige float with heavy application. Application Instructions For Brushing
The following technical information pertains to the brushing formulations of the Potter’s Choice glazes available in pints and gallons.
Potter’s Choice glazes need to be applied at a certain thickness to bring out their true beauty. Although simple in concept, applying the correct glaze thickness is difficult to convey. AMACO® tells users to apply 3 coats (unless noted on the label) of glaze to ware. Unfortunately, everyone naturally applies different thicknesses in a coating with very different results.
The following tiles should allow users to see if they have applied the glaze too thick or too thin. As a general rule we find that most people who are having issues seem to be applying glaze on the light side.
The first tile in the set is a thin application. The second tile is slightly on the thin side and the third is slightly on the heavy side. A good application (as intended) would be between tiles 2 and 3. Obviously, the final look to be achieved is up to the end user.
