Velvets fire true-to-color as a Cone 05/06 underglaze or fired to Cone 6. Some colors remain true as high as Cone 10. Can be easily applied to wet clay, greenware, or mature Cone 04 bisque (1971F / 1077C)

Yellow Velvet Underglaze is a bright lemon yellow that is vivid at cone 05. It is still bright, but less saturated at cone 05 and becomes pale at cone 10. A clear glaze over Yellow darkens the color slightly, but has less of an effect at higher temperatures.

Light Pink Velvet Underglaze is a soft blush pink color, pale at cone 05, warmer and more saturated at cone 5. At cone 10, the color is deeper and will not burn out. A clear glaze over Light Pink will accentuate the color at cone 05 and cone 5, but will causes some of the color to burn out at cone 10.

Rose Velvet underglaze is a deep magenta that is dark at cone 05, becomes patchy at cone 5 before it burns out almost completely at cone 10. A clear glaze over Rose will accentuate the color at cone 05 but at cone 5 and 10, there is no color change between glazed and unglazed.
Lilac Velvet Underglaze is a soft plum color, light at cone 05, and warmer and deeper at cone 5. Color will begin to burn out at cone 10. A clear glaze over Lilac will accentuate the color at cone 05 and 5, and burn out much of the color at cone 10.
